Some of our patients have told us that they’ve recently received a letter from NHS England stating that Market Place Dentistry and Kirkgate Dental Practice are closing/have closed, and that patients should contact ‘Thirsk Smiles’ (aka Star Dental Care) to register.
This is completely untrue. We are and will remain open
Both ourselves and Kirkgate are here for all our patients and we are proud to continue providing a vital service to Thirsk and the local area.
We are extremely disappointed in NHS England for sending out false information and will be taking this up with them as a matter of urgency
